Welcome back to Ordinary Bliss Conversations, where I speak with women in the healing space about their journeys, their work, and the real-life experiences that have shaped them.
Today I’m joined by Tahlia Mynott, Clinical Nutritionist and co-author of Nourishing Those Who Nurture — a book series dedicated to supporting families through preconception and postpartum. Tahlia is a mother of three, living with her family on a rainforest property in Northern NSW.
Her passion for hormone health began with her own experiences of hormonal imbalance — including PCOS, amenorrhea, cysts, dysmenorrhea, and miscarriage — and a deep frustration with the limited answers offered through conventional medicine. That journey led her to study nutrition, dive deep into hormone health, establish an online holistic hormone health clinic and ultimately write the book she wished she had in early motherhood.
In this chat, we talk about:
Growing up immersed in natural health
Her struggle with hormonal imbalance beginning in her teens
Finding her own answers through study and intuition
The realities of postpartum that no one talks about
Why true support means being seen, even when you’re not coping
It’s a jam packed, honest conversation that we hope leaves you feeling more informed, less alone, and more connected to your own body.
